Japanese Language Course

The outline of the course
The course is intended to teach you, the beginners of Japanese language, the basic Japanese and Japanese culture. The
target of the course is to improve your speaking, presentation and explanation skill for the basic communication with
Japanese people. For this, the course is designed to improve your vocabulary, listening, speaking, reading and writing
skill of the basic level. Occasionally, the teacher requests you to make presentation on any topic you like followed by
questions and comments by the teacher and other students. The teacher explains you the essence of Japanese culture
through various conversation skits. You have many opportunities to speak in Japanese and have fun in learning
Japanese.

Course Contents:

• Language
• Vocabulary
• Japanese letters: Initially, Romanized Japanese. Gradually, Hiragana and Katakana will be introduced.
• Grammar: The basic sentence pattern(plain form, polite form)
• Presentation skill: Your language skill will be empowered through presentation on any topic you like

Culture

• Japanese manners
• Japanese life pattern

Faculty : Ms.Anjana Shinoda, She has resided in Japan for 30 years with her Japanese husband.
She has taught the basic Japanese at AMA in 2002 with good reputation from the students.

Fee : Rs.4500/- per person. (inclusive of Service Tax). Fee includes Course fee, Reading Material and
Refreshments. Cheque should be drawn in favour of “Ahmedabad Management Association”
