Outline:

‘Yokoso Japan’, as they say in Japanese, means ‘Welcome to Japan.’ To introduce you to the wonderful world of Japan and bring you closer to several facets of Japanese culture and traditions through the learning of Japanese language, the Centre for Japanese Studies promoted by the Ahmedabad Management Association, in cooperation with the Indo-Japan Friendship Association, Gujarat, is pleased to announce Japanese Course for Beginners.

This course aims to cover the following important points:

Course content:

• 3 Scripts :
  – Hiragana
  – Katakana
  – Kanji (30-35)
• Vocabulary :
  – Numbers upto 9999
  – Days/Months
  – Timing (Clock)
  – Colors
• Grammar :
  – Basic Grammar Pattern
  – Verbs, adjectives, tenses
• Conversation :
  – Basic small daily conversation
• Culture & Japanese Manners :
  – The way of greeting, self-introduction
  – Japanese Gestures & Customs
