The First of its Kind Scintillating Presentation of the Fusion Dances at NIPPON ODORI, 12th Japan Festival unfolds a Unique Experience to savour the flavour of popular folk-dances of Japan and Gujarat, two regions which, though geographically distant, share a rich tapestry of cultural similarities.
While UNESCO added traditional Japanese folk-dances, popularly known as Furyu Odori, to its list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity in November. 2022, the globally celebrated Gujarati Garba got similar recognition in December, 2023.
