Origami- Paper Craft Contest – Friday 16th January 10.00 a.m. to 12.00 Noon

A. Rules for Registration :

1. Registration for Origami Contest either by submission of the form at AMA or On-line Registration at www.JapanCentreAtAMA.com
2. Last date of registration is January 12, 2015, Monday by 6.00 pm.
3. The contestants shall be required to attend a screening session on January 13, 2015, Tuesday anytime between 4.00 pm and 6.00 pm.

B. Rules for Participation :

1. The contest shall be grouped in the following manner
   a. Group 1 – 10 to 18 years
   b. Group 2 – 18 years and above
2. The contestants will have to report at AMA by 9.30 am.
3. The contestants will have to bring necessary origami papers for folding models.
4. The Origami Contest will start sharp at 10.00 am.
5. The contestants will be given 90 minutes to complete their models.
6. The contestants shall fold a minimum of 1 and maximum of 3 models during the above time period.
7. The models folded by the contestants shall remain with AMA.

C. Other Information :

1. Results of the Origami Contest will be declared during the Inaugural Function of Japan Festival between 6.00 pm to 8.00 pm.
2. Prize Distribution will be held during the Inaugural Function as above.
3. Star selected Origami Models at the Contest shall be displayed at the Origami Exhibition from the eve of Friday,January 16, 2015 to Sunday, January 18, 2015 during the Japan Festival at AMA. Names of such Contestants shall also be displayed along with Exhibits.
4. Each contestant will be given a certificate of participation.
5. Judges decision will be final and shall not be questioned.
